Edwin Levi Childs

Edwin Levi Childs was born on May 24, 1888, in Unionville, Michigan. The highest grade he completed in school was fourth grade. His education limited his ability to get high paying jobs. He married Lillie L. Conrad on April 15, 1914, in Sebewaing, Michigan. They had nine children in 19 years. He died on April 29, 1946, in his hometown, at the age of 57, and was buried there.

1897: Edwin's father, Charles died of Typhoid Fever at the age of 36 in Beaverton, Gladwin, Michigan, USA when Edwin was only 11 years old.

1900: US Census indicates that he lived with his uncle Edwin W. Childs in Tuscola County in Michigan on a farm at that time.

1914: Edwin married Lillie L. Conrad on April 15, 1914, in Sebewaing, Michigan.
